Our client is a global leader within the insurance market. Offering corporate and personal clients a wide variety of services and products, they are a true international leader in this field with an excellent reputation. We are looking for an experienced Regional Corporate Sales Manager to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. OVERVIEW OF ROLE Management and leadership of all Sales functions in the designated geographical region/s, including Delivery, Promotion, Management and Controls of relevant company products and services sales through set and agreed objectives (revenue and lives) in new business and retention streams. Managing 4 tiers of staff including New Business Team (Snr Acct Managers, Acct Managers and Execs), Retention Manager (and his team of Relationship Managers), Intermediaries Account Manager and Sales Support Staff Reporting to: Director of Corporate Sales KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provides detailed sales plan and targets for an ongoing 12 months for sales area. • Manages and leads Account Managers and Account Executives team to achieve all elements of prospecting and selling efforts in market segment with >100 members, while ensuring manpower requirement in the region are always met. For identified major accounts >5000 members, plans approach with Sales Director. • Develops and maintains relationships with key and potential clients in the designated region. • Manages Retention function and team for maintaining, servicing, premium collections in line with company credit Control Policy, and renewing existing clients to achieve retention targets. • Manages quality workflow and procedures to ensure maximum business efficiency and maintains appropriate levels of professional written and spoken sales activity in both the Arabic and English languages with open communication through office. • Ensures that CRM database is kept updated by area team on all sales activity, forecast and results. In addition to weekly/monthly reports on overall area performance. • Contributes to the strategic direction of the Sales by way of team management meetings, and directly contribute to the sales plan. • Manages and leads the territory Sales teams to achieve AOP sales targets within the agreed performance management process. • Ensures effective cost management of the regional budget including, training, travel, incentives and capital expenditures. • Ensures sales policy is observed in meeting operational requirements and legal criteria observed in terms of Saudi Arabian laws and regulatory requirements. • Maintains and provides high level of information on PMI market trends and regulation update, together with competitor products, pricing moves etc. Based on this, recommends/plans for Sales and distribution expansion in the designated region. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • At least 8 years experience • Industry experience should be within:  Insurance industry  Pharmaceutical  Telecommunications - Corporate Sales  FMCG  Corporate Banking • Open to all Arabic nationals • University degree from a recognised university. A master’s degree or post graduate degree is a plus • Proficient in both Arabic and English language both written and spoken ability • Excellent computer skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft • Must have good self-management, motivational, negotiation, communication and presentation skills • Must be able to work under minimum supervision on a day to day basis • Previous experience of working in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment, ideally in the Middle East • Experience in the (medical) insurance field would be considered a plus but not essential KEY SKILLS • Strong communication and influencing skills • People management – Manages Teams and Targets • Can perform under pressure • Team Leadership • Communication • Decision Making • Creative thinking • Initiative • Forward Thinking • Results orientated • Resource Management • Vision
